About Armaan Timber – Building & Construction Material in Anjar
Our timber yard is located at Plot No. 221/A, which is part of Survey No. 179. It is a large, open property because wood requires a lot of room for storage and drying. When you arrive, the first thing that hits you is the strong scent of sawdust and various types of timber. We have been working with wood for many years and have seen all kinds of logs come through here. Our days are spent unloading trucks and sorting the timber into different stacks based on size and quality. It is heavy, physical work that usually leaves us covered in wood chips and sap by the end of the day. We have some basic machinery for cutting the wood down to size, but we are not a high-tech manufacturing plant. It is more about having an eye for the material and knowing what each piece is best suited for. The yard can get very muddy during the rainy season, which makes it difficult to operate the heavy lifting equipment. We have a small office shed for the paperwork, but we spend most of our time outside among the stacks. Customers usually come by in person to look at the wood for their own building or furniture projects. We do not have any fancy showrooms or catalogs. What you see in the stacks is what is available. Sometimes we get a bit behind on orders when the weather is bad, and we just tell our customers the truth about the delay.
