Ashirvad Impex

Ashirvad Impex is out at Survey No. 62 in Meghpar Borichi. That’s in the Anjar area of Kachchh. It’s quite a dusty place, especially when the wind picks up across the open land around us. We have a fair amount of space here for storage and handling whatever comes in for shipping. Most of the day is spent checking paperwork or looking over the shipments that arrived that morning. It’s not very exciting work, but it needs doing to keep things moving. We see a lot of different people coming through, drivers and loaders mostly. My desk is usually covered in folders and loose sheets of paper. Anjar has a lot of these kinds of businesses because of the location and the ports. We are a bit away from the main town center, which is good for the trucks because they don't get stuck in traffic. Sometimes we have to stay late if a shipment is delayed on the road. The lights out here are pretty bright at night so we can see what we are doing. We don’t have any fancy decorations in the office. It’s just chairs, tables, and a cooling fan that makes too much noise. We’ve been operating from this survey number for quite a while now. People know us as the place out past the main road. It gets quiet in the evenings when the traffic finally slows down. We just handle the daily impex tasks.
