Kutch Farmer Producer Company Limited is based in Ambapar village, which is in the Anjar taluka of Kutch. Our office is at Babu Kana Khatriya’s house. Babu stays there and looks after the company things. Kutch is a tough place for farming because of the dry weather, but we make it work. We are a group of farmers who wanted to work together to make things a bit easier. The office isn't anything special, just a place in the village where we gather. We talk about water, seeds, and how to get our crops to the market in Anjar or further. Everyone knows Babu Kana in the village, so finding us is easy. We don't have any big brochures or fancy websites. We just speak to people face to face. It is a slow and steady kind of life here. We help each other with the forms and the government work that comes with being a producer company. Sometimes the heat is too much, so we work early or late. It is an honest living. We are proud of being from Kutch and we know the land here very well. We are just a bunch of locals trying to do right by our families and our neighbors. We try to figure out the best way to handle the desert conditions together.
