Jigar Scrap is our operation based in the G.I.D.C. area of Anjar. Being in an industrial zone like this means we are surrounded by all sorts of factories and workshops. We deal with scrap metal mostly. It’s a lot of sorting through piles of old iron, copper, and whatever else comes in on the trucks. The sun gets really hot out here in the yard, and there isn't much shade, so it’s tough work during the summer months. We have a few guys who help with the loading and unloading. It’s a noisy place with the sound of metal clanging and trucks backing in. We’ve been in Anjar for a while and have seen the G.I.D.C. grow a lot over the years. We aren't doing anything fancy; we just weigh the scrap, sort it out, and send it where it needs to go next. It’s a dirty job, and we are usually covered in dust by lunch. We don't have a big office, just a small cabin where we keep the records and handle the payments. Most of our days are spent outside among the piles. People bring us stuff from all over the district. We don't talk much about plans or missions—we just try to clear the yard and keep the business moving. It’s how things work in the scrap business. It’s busy, loud, and honest work that keeps us on our feet all day long every single week.
