We’ve been set up here at 51 A Ramnagar Society for quite a long time now. Anjar is where we do our thing, and being in this part of Kutch, you really get used to how the days go by. It’s not a big flashy office or anything like that, just a regular building where the work happens. People in the society know us, and we know the neighbors. It’s a quiet spot most of the time, which is good for staying focused. When we first moved in, the space was mostly empty, but over the years we’ve filled it up with all the stuff you need to run things properly. There’s a lot of paper moving through here. We don’t really go in for those big corporate meetings or anything. It’s more about sitting down and getting through the pile on the desk. Sometimes the heat in Kutch can be a lot, especially in the afternoons, so we just keep the fans going and stay busy. We don’t have a big story to tell. It’s just Germanischer Lloyd, and this is where we operate from. It’s a practical setup, nothing more. If you walk down the street in Ramnagar, you’ll find us easily enough. We’ve stayed in this one spot because it works for us. It’s just a group of people doing their jobs every day without making a big fuss about it. That’s how it’s always been here in Anjar.
