Jirafe General Stores

Jirafe General Stores is located on Sanichara Road in Anjangaon Surji. You can find us right opposite the Shivam Complex. We've been here for a long time and have seen the town change quite a bit. Our shop sells all kinds of general items, from stationery to small household goods. It’s the kind of place where you can find a needle or a notebook. The shop is a bit old-fashioned, with wooden counters and shelves that have been there since we opened. We don't have bright neon lights, just a few tubes that flicker sometimes. People stop by on their way to the market or after work. It’s a friendly place where people often stay for a minute to chat about the weather or local news. My family has been running this for two generations now. It’s a lot of work keeping everything organized, especially with so many small items. We keep a handwritten ledger for everything. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the road outside a bit muddy, but people still come in. We don't have a big sign, just the name painted above the door. It’s a quiet, steady business and we like it that way. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in town, just a reliable place where you can get what you need without a hassle. Most of our customers are more like friends now because we've known them for years.
