Our company, Greenfield Equipments India Pvt. Ltd., is based over at Agrasen Chowk. We are on the Main Road in Shegaon. If you walk down towards Hanuman Mandir, you’ll find us near Lakhpati Galli. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze in the galli sometimes, especially when we are moving big pieces of equipment. We deal with various types of machinery that people use for their work. The shop is full of metal parts and the smell of oil. It’s not a place for fancy clothes. We usually wear old shirts that can get dirty. Shegaon is a nice place, and being near the temple means there is always a lot of activity around us. We hear the bells ringing throughout the day. We don't have a polished sales team. We are just people who know how machines work. If something breaks, we look at it. We don't use any corporate talk about synergy or excellence. We just try to make sure the equipment does what it’s supposed to do. The heat can be tough in the summer, especially with all the metal around, but we manage. We’ve got a small office in the back where we keep the records. Most of our work is done on the shop floor though. We don't have any big slogans. We just open the doors and get to work every morning. Sometimes we share a cup of tea with the shop owners nearby when things are slow. It’s a good community to be in.
