Peter England Showroom

Peter England Showroom is located on New Daily Market Road. We are inside the Central Lodge Building. If you know where Shahu Ji Jewellers is, we are right near there. The market outside is always crowded with people buying vegetables or just walking around. It gets quite noisy during the evening hours. Inside the showroom, we spend our time folding shirts and putting them back on the hangers. People come in to look for something to wear for a wedding or just for work. We have a lot of different sizes, though sometimes we run out of the most popular ones. The mirrors need cleaning pretty often because people touch them. The floor is tiled and we try to keep it shiny. Sometimes the air conditioning doesn't work perfectly, but it's usually okay. We sit behind the counter when it’s quiet and talk about random things. It’s a job like any other. We see all kinds of people coming through the doors. Some are very picky and others just grab the first thing they see. The building itself is old, but we’ve tried to make our section look decent enough. We open up in the morning and stay until late. That is basically how things go here every day on New Daily Market Road. We keep the inventory records in a big register and check them every night before we lock up the glass doors and go home.
