You can find the Patnaik Minerals Pvt.Ltd. office over in Bonaikela. It is a part of the Joda area in the Keonjhar district. We are set up at the place belonging to Ananda Chandra Mohanty. Shubhashis Panda is the person you will usually see working around here if you stop by. Joda is a very busy mining hub, so there is hardly ever a quiet moment during the day. The roads stay full of heavy trucks and the dust is just a normal part of the landscape. Our office isn't much to look at from the outside, just a practical space where we can do our work. We have our computers and our record books, and that is really all we need to stay on top of the business. Most of our days are spent on the phone talking to drivers and making sure the cargo is moving. It involves a lot of back-and-forth communication. We like being in Bonaikela because it feels more like a real neighborhood than a cold industrial site. People walk by with their bags and cows cross the road whenever they feel like it. We do not use any complicated systems here, just hard work and attention to detail. The Keonjhar heat can be pretty tough in the summer months, but we have fans to keep the office okay. We have been part of this community for years and we like it here. It is an honest way to spend the day and we keep at it.
