Nava Bharat Ventures Limited, Kharag Prasad, Dhenkanal

Our location is at Qr.-E/3 in the Grid Co. Colony. This is in the Matia Sahi area of Hakimpada, right in Angul. We handle matters for the Dhenkanal unit of the company, specifically for the Kharag Prasad site. Nirmal Ku Senapati is usually here at the office. Since we are in a colony, it has a very local, neighborhood feel to it. We aren't in a big city skyscraper with a view. We are just in a regular quarter where we do our administrative work every day. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and dealing with the power grid and other authorities. Angul and Dhenkanal are big for industry in Orissa, so there’s never a dull moment. The office is quite simple with just the basic stuff we need to get through the day. We have plenty of files and a lot of logbooks. Sometimes it’s a bit slow, and we just sit and talk about local news or the weather. Other times, it’s a mad rush to get paperwork finished for a deadline. We don't have fancy signs or anything outside. People who need to find us usually already know where we are. We have been here long enough to be part of the local community. It’s honest, plain work that needs to be done. We just make sure everything is in order and that the communication between the different sites stays clear. It’s just our daily routine.
