Nalco

I work over at the Nalco site in Angul, specifically in the S&P Complex. Our section is B-1140 within the area known as Nalconagar. It is a huge place out here in Orissa, and the 759145 area is basically built around everything we do at the plant. We are part of the big aluminum operations that keep this region busy. My day is mostly spent within the complex, making sure the specific tasks for our unit are on track. It is a very industrial environment, with lots of heat and big machinery running everywhere you look. We live and work pretty close together in Nalconagar, so it feels like a small town on its own. We do not really have a fancy story to tell about ourselves. We just show up for our shifts and keep the plant running like it should. The S&P Complex is a busy hub with people moving around in their uniforms and big trucks coming in and out all day long. It is loud and it can get pretty dusty, but that is just the nature of this kind of work. We have been here for years, and the routine is pretty well set by now. We focus on the daily output and following the safety rules. There is a lot of technical stuff to keep track of, but we just take it one day at a time. It is a solid job in a massive facility.
