L &T

Our office is located in Similipada, which is in the Angul district. We are set up at Prasant Ku Singh Samanta’s place, in care of Dhaneswar Dash. It’s a local arrangement that has worked well for us over the years. L & T is the name we use, but here in Similipada, we are just the folks working out of that house. It’s a quiet area mostly. We spend our time managing the local projects and keeping track of the supplies. The office isn't anything special to look at. It’s got some desks, a few cupboards for the files, and enough chairs for the staff. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a security guard at a desk. You just walk in. It’s a very grounded way to work. We see the local life happening right outside our door every day. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when there’s a festival or a market day, but we don’t mind. It feels like we are part of the town. We don’t go in for big speeches or polished presentations. We just show up, do what needs doing, and go home. Angul is a good place for this kind of work.
