If you’re looking for us, we are over in Hemsurpada, right in Angul. KKB DESIGNERS LLP operates out of a space shared with Kailash Chandra Agrawalla. It’s a local setup, nothing too fancy or over the top. We spend our days mostly looking at designs and trying to figure out the best way to put things together for people around here. The weather in Orissa can be tough, so that often dictates what kind of materials we can actually use. We aren't some big city firm with a marketing team. It’s just a few of us who know how to draw and plan. Sometimes we disagree on how a layout should look, but we usually figure it out over some tea. Our desks are usually piled with sketches and samples. We like the pace of work in Angul; it’s steady without being too chaotic. People just drop by the office when they have a question. We don't really do the whole formal appointment thing unless we have to. It’s more about having a conversation and seeing if we can help with a design problem. We’ve been at this for a while now and we know the local suppliers and what’s available in the market. It’s just practical, everyday work for us. We try to keep things simple and avoid any big promises we can't keep.
