Kalyani Polyclinic

If you walk down Jagannath Road and look for the Nokia Care shop, we are right near there. Our polyclinic isn't hard to find, but it’s easy to miss if you’re driving too fast. It’s just a small setup, a few rooms where different doctors come in on different days of the week. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze in the lobby when the specialist is in, but we manage. I spend my days answering the phone and trying to keep the schedule straight, though people often just show up without calling first. That’s just how it is on Jagannath Road. We have a small bench outside under the awning for when the inside gets full. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re more focused on getting the patients seen. We don't have a big pharmacy attached, but there’s one just a few doors down. It’s a practical arrangement. Most of our visitors are regulars who have been coming to us since we opened. They like that we don't act like a big institution. We just talk, listen to what's wrong, and see what can be done. It’s a busy little place, especially in the evenings when everyone gets off work. We usually stay open until the last person has been helped, even if it’s a bit late. It’s just how we run things here.
