Kalinga Eye Hospital

Down on Dakhinakali Road, you will find Kalinga Eye Hospital. We mostly focus on eyes here, as you might have already guessed from our name. It is a steady kind of place. People come to see us when they cannot see clearly or if they have some kind of eye injury. We see young kids, elderly folks, and everyone else in between. Dakhinakali Road can get a bit dusty and crowded on some days, but inside the building, we try to keep things as calm as possible for the patients. We have been here long enough that most people in this area know exactly where to go when they have a problem. It isn't a massive skyscraper or anything like that, just a functional building where we do our daily work. Some days we have more patients than we have chairs in the waiting area, so people end up standing around for a bit. We try to get through the list as fast as we can without rushing the actual exams. Our equipment is used every single day, and we do our best to keep it all in good shape. It is simple work, really, just checking vision and helping people get their sight back. Sometimes the clinic hours run a little bit late if there is a surgery scheduled, but that is just part of the job. We don't bother with much fancy talk.
