Gujarat Tiles

We have been at Handidhua Chowk for quite a while now. Most local people know our spot because it is right near the Deulabeda Railway Crossing. It gets a bit noisy whenever the trains go by, but you get used to that sound after a few weeks of working here. We mainly keep busy moving tiles around and helping out folks who drop by from Hatatota. It is not a fancy place at all. We have stacks of tiles everywhere, and sometimes the dust gets on everything, but that is just how it is when you are dealing with ceramics and stone. People come in looking for something specific for their kitchen or maybe a bathroom floor, and we try to show them what is currently in stock. There is no big sales pitch here. If we have what you need, that is great. If not, we might be able to find it for you later. My hands are usually a bit rough from lifting the heavy boxes, and the tea stall nearby is where we spend most of our breaks. The shop is not hard to find if you are coming from the main road. We usually open up early in the morning before the sun makes it too hot to move. It is a straightforward business. We sell tiles, we load them into the back of trucks, and we go home at the end of the day. Sometimes the rain makes the yard a bit muddy, but we keep things moving.
