This office for the Modern India Construction unit is over in the Tamrit Colony in Angul. We are located at Sheetal Bihar, specifically care of Kanu Charan Nayak. If you know Angul, you know it can get incredibly hot, and our little spot in the colony is no exception. We are surrounded by residential houses, so it feels very much like a community setting rather than a business district. The office is really just a simple room where Prabir Chatterjee and the rest of us manage the local work. We don't have any big signs or fancy decorations. It is just a place with some sturdy furniture and a lot of documents. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when there is something going on in the colony, but mostly it is just the hum of the fans overhead. We get our work done without much fanfare. The roads around Tamrit Colony can be a bit dusty, and finding the specific house can be tricky for newcomers, but once you are here, it is a straightforward place. We are just a small team trying to keep things organized and making sure everything runs the way it should in this part of Odisha. It is practical and unpretentious, which is exactly how we like to operate on a daily basis without any of that corporate polish.
