Bimbadhara Social Empowerment Foundation

Bimbadhara Social Empowerment Foundation is way up on the top floor of House Number 8999 at Pradhan Nibas. We’re right along NH-24 in Angul, very close to the school in Rajadang, Khamar. Being near the highway means it’s always a bit loud with trucks passing by, but you get used to the vibration after a few days. We chose this spot because it’s easy for people to reach from the main road. The climb to the top floor is a bit much in the heat, especially when the power goes out and the fans stop. We aren't some big, polished foundation with a lot of money. We’re just a small group of locals who wanted to see more people in Angul getting the help they deserve. We have a lot of meetings around a big wooden table that’s seen better days. There’s always someone coming in with a story or a problem, and we just sit and listen. Sometimes we can help right away, and other times it takes a lot of phone calls. We don't have any fancy posters or a big mission statement on the wall. We just have a lot of files and a few computers that are a bit slow. We try to be honest about what we can achieve. It’s practical, everyday work. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just our little part of it here near the school.
