People around Kidangoor P.O. know where we are because we’ve been on M.C. Road for quite a long time. The shop is located near the Double Palliam Road junction. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when the traffic picks up heading into Ernakulam district. We deal with various building materials and things people need for their homes. Most of the time, the guys are busy unloading bags or moving tiles around in the back. It isn't a flashy place with bright lights or anything. It is a simple store where we sit and talk to customers who are usually our neighbors or local builders. Sometimes the rain gets heavy and we have to move things inside quickly. The office is small and usually has some papers scattered around on the desk. We don't spend much on advertising because people just find us by driving past. The M.C. Road is always noisy, but you get used to it after a few weeks. We have a couple of trucks that go out for deliveries nearby. It’s hard work, especially when the weather is hot, but we keep at it. Most of our regulars just call us up and ask what we have in stock. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just us here every day, opening up early and staying until the sun goes down. It's a practical business for a practical area like this. It keeps us busy and we like the local feel.
