Kvk Sons Cooldrinks Shop

The shop is right on Republic Road in North Paravur, so we see everyone passing through town. Kvk Sons Cooldrinks Shop has been around for a bit, and it’s just a simple spot to get something cold when the humidity is high. The shelves are always a bit crowded with different bottles and crates. We spend a lot of time making sure the fridge is working right because a warm drink is no good to anyone in this heat. North Paravur gets plenty of rain, and when it pours, people crowd under our small awning to stay dry. We don’t mind, as long as they don’t block the entrance too much. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so there is always someone around who knows the regulars. It’s a quiet enough existence, just keeping the shop open and seeing the same faces every day. It feels like we are just part of the furniture on this street now.
