Maintenance Supervisor

I’m the maintenance supervisor here in Vizianagaram. My place is at House No:13, Bit:1 in the Phool Baugh Colony. It’s a decent neighborhood and I’ve lived here for quite a while. Most people know me as Vijayasaradhi. My job is basically making sure everything stays in working order. I supervise a small crew and we handle various tasks around the area. It could be fixing a roof or sorting out the wiring in a community building. I’m not much for sitting in an office, so I’m usually out on the site with the guys. I think it’s better to see the problem with your own eyes. The Phool Baugh Colony is where I keep my records and organize the schedule for the week. We don't have a big corporate setup. It’s more of a local operation. I learned the trade from my father and just kept going with it. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. Sometimes the weather in Andhra Pradesh makes the work hard, especially in the summer months when it's too hot to be outside for long. But we get through it. I don't have any fancy slogans or anything. We just take the jobs as they come and try to do a solid job so people don't have to call us back for the same thing twice. It’s just me and the crew, keeping things going one day at a time. I’ve been doing this for years and it’s just part of who I am now.
