Maytas Infra Litd

We are located out in the East Godavari District, specifically in Kesanakurrupalem. This is part of the I. Polavaram Mandal. The office is connected to the family of G.V.S.N. Raju. It’s a very rural setting compared to the big city offices in Hyderabad. Out here, the work for Maytas Infra Litd is much more grounded in the local landscape. We are surrounded by greenery and small villages. The office is just a small building where we coordinate the local labor and the materials for the projects in this district. It’s quiet, except for the birds and the occasional tractor going by. We don't have high-speed fiber internet or fancy coffee machines. We drink tea from the local shop and use fans to keep cool during the humid afternoons. Most of our day is spent visiting the sites nearby to make sure the work is actually happening. It takes a long time to get anywhere because the roads are narrow. We know everyone in the village, and they know us. It’s a different pace of life, but the infrastructure work is still just as demanding. We have to be careful with the monsoons because the ground gets very soft here. It’s just us doing our part for the local developments, one day at a time. Every project brings its own set of problems, usually involving the mud or the transport of heavy pipes.
