Sa Habitat, Kompally, Hyd

Sa Habitat is over in Kompally, but our main office is actually at 30/36/96, Pkm Colony in Machilipatnam. It’s in the Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh. We’ve been working out of this space for a good while now. It isn't a fancy corporate building with glass walls. It's just a regular house where we keep our files and meet up to talk about projects. The coastal air here can be a bit salty, so things tend to rust if we aren't careful. We spend a lot of our time looking at maps and checking on construction progress. It's mostly just local guys working here. We don't have a big HR department or anything like that. If you come by, you'll probably see a few of us sitting around a table with some tea. We try to keep things simple. The commute to Kompally can be a long one, so we do a lot of our coordination over the phone. Sometimes the neighborhood gets a bit noisy with kids playing outside, but we don't mind. It's a real place with real people. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone with shiny brochures. We just focus on the houses and the land we’re managing. Our desks are usually covered in blueprints and half-empty water bottles. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. That’s just how we operate. We start early when it’s still cool outside.
