Siemens Ltd

We are based in a place called Manimalapeakavunkal in Pathanamthitta, down here in Kerala. It’s a beautiful area, very green and often quite rainy. Our office for Siemens Ltd is located in a traditional style building. It’s not at all like those high-rise buildings you see in pictures of big cities. We have a lot of space, but it’s filled with old desks and stacks of papers that need filing. The air is humid, and we usually keep the windows open to catch a breeze. We handle a lot of local coordination for engineering projects in this part of the state. Most of the people working here have lived in Kerala their whole lives. We speak simply and don't like to use complicated words for no reason. Our days are filled with checking schedules and talking to people on-site. Sometimes the local festivals make the roads busy, so we have to plan our travel carefully. We don't have a big corporate cafeteria; we usually just eat our lunch at our desks or go to a small shop nearby for a quick snack. It’s a very practical way of working. We aren't here to win any awards for how our office looks. We just want to make sure the equipment stays running and the customers aren't left waiting for answers. It’s a steady pace of life here, and we like it that way. We just do our work, talk to our neighbors, and go home.
