Raghuram Cements Ltd.

This branch of Raghuram Cements Ltd. is over in Nallalingayapalli village. It’s part of the Kamalapuram Mandal in the Kadapa district. K.B. Maheswar is the one often overseeing things here. Being out in a village means things are a bit different than in the city. We are surrounded by fields and open land. Our work is mostly about the production and management of the cement site here. It’s a big operation but we keep the atmosphere fairly simple. We aren't corporate people in suits. We are usually on the ground, making sure the machinery is running and the staff is doing okay. The heat in this part of A.P. is no joke, especially in the middle of the day. We have our office right there at the site so we can see everything that’s happening. It’s a practical setup. We don't bother with fancy decorations or mission statements. We just focus on the cement. People from the nearby villages often work with us. It’s a community effort in many ways. We’ve been in Nallalingayapalli for a long time and we know how the local system works. It can be a bit isolated out here, but we like the focus it gives us on our work. We just keep the trucks moving and the bags filled. It’s honest, hard work and we don't try to make it sound like anything else.
