We have been operating out of Yerraguntla Mandalam for a while now. Specifically, you can find us at Maheswra Reddy’s spot in Y. Kodur village. It’s a quiet place in the Kadapa district, but we stay busy with the local projects. The sun gets really intense in Andhra Pradesh, so we start our days early before the heat becomes too much to handle. Most of the guys here are from the nearby villages, so we have a good mix of people who know the land well. We don’t have any fancy offices or anything like that. It’s just a practical setup where we coordinate our daily tasks. Sometimes the internet is slow or the phones don’t pick up well because of the location, but we manage just fine. We’ve seen the area change a bit over the years since we moved in. Living and working here means dealing with the dust and the seasonal rains, which can turn the paths pretty messy. But that is just part of life in the village. Larsen& Toubro Ltd has its name on the board, but to the locals, we’re just the crew working out of Nagireddy's old place. We keep our tools ready and our heads down. It is not always easy work, but there is a sense of satisfaction in finishing a day’s job in this part of the country. We usually grab tea at the local stall nearby and talk about the next day’s plans before heading home.
