This is K. Rajender's place over at C1-51 in the staff colony. We're situated in Basantnagar, which is part of the Karimnagar district in Andhra Pradesh. Living and working here is just how it is for us. The cement factory is the main thing in this town. Our office is right in the middle of where everyone lives. It’s a basic setup, just a desk, some chairs, and plenty of paperwork to go around. We spend our days tracking shipments and making sure the counts are right. It’s not the kind of job you see in movies. It’s mostly just making sure things get from one place to another without too many problems. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait it out. We know all the neighbors because we see them every day at the gate. It feels more like a big family than a company sometimes. We’ve been here for a good while. The sun gets hot in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early. We don't have a fancy website or a PR team. If you want to talk to us, you just come by the colony. We are usually around if the gate is open. We just keep doing what we've always done. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy. That’s about all there is to it.
