Gammon India Limited

Our office in Kadapa is located over in the Co-Operative Colony. It is on Plot 3/1289-2. It’s a relatively quiet area compared to the main market, which is nice when we’re trying to focus on site drawings. We’ve been here long enough that most of the neighbors know who we are. The building is simple and doesn’t have a big sign or anything flashy. Inside, it’s mostly just desks piled with files and rolls of blueprints. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the guys out at the actual work sites. In the afternoons, it can get quite hot, so we keep the fans going and just push through the paperwork. It’s a small team here, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. There’s no formal dress code or anything like that; we just wear what’s comfortable for the heat and the work. Sometimes we have people from the main office visiting, but usually, it’s just us doing the daily grind. We deal with the local permits and the supply chain for the materials we need. It's a lot of coordination and making sure things arrive when they are supposed to. It’s decent work and the colony is a good spot for us to stay organized. We’ve settled in well here over the years and know the local rhythm. We try to finish our tasks before the evening traffic starts building up nearby. We just focus on the task at hand.
