Unique Kiryan Store

Unique Kiryan Store is right here in Ratnipora Pampore. The name says unique but we are a pretty standard shop for this part of Pulwama. We spend our mornings opening up the metal shutters and sweeping the front step. The address is 192121 and we have been in this spot for some time. There are always stacks of items that need to be put away. We use a small notebook to keep track of what we need to buy next. The ceiling is high and sometimes a bird flies in if we leave the door open too wide. It gets busy when the school lets out and the kids come by. We have some jars of snacks on the counter that everyone likes. In Ratnipora, everybody knows everybody. We listen to the radio while we work to pass the time. The shelves are wooden and they creak a little when you put heavy things on them. Our family helps out when it gets crowded. We don't use any fancy computers, just a simple way of doing things. The street outside is noisy with cars and people walking to the market. We are just a local Kiryan store trying to keep the shelves full for the village. Pulwama has a lot of shops but this one is ours. We stay open late most nights because people forget things they need for dinner. It is just the way things go here in Pampore. We keep a stash of old newspapers for wrapping things up for people to carry home.
