Pcl Fruits Private Limited

Pcl Fruits is located in the Goriwan area of Bijbehara, right near the local graveyard. We are based at Gh Qadir Tak’s place. In this part of Anantnag, fruits are a big part of life, so it made sense for us to start a business around it. We spend most of our time in the orchards or in the packing shed. Depending on the season, we are either busy with the harvest or trying to get the crates ready for shipping out. It is physical work. There is a lot of lifting, climbing, and checking the fruit for bruises. The area around Goriwan can get quite busy during the peak season with all the trucks coming in. We don't have a fancy office with computers and desks. Most of our office work is just notes scribbled on a pad near the loading dock. We have a small crew and we all know each other well. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate and we have to move fast to get the fruit under cover. It’s a bit of a scramble when that happens. We aren't trying to be the biggest fruit company in the world. We just want to do a good job with the crops we have right here in Anantnag. It’s what our families have done for a long time, so we just kept the tradition going with our own company.
