Ceit Ignou

Ceit Ignou is located in Anantnag, right near the masjid. It is a place that most people in the neighborhood know because of the landmark nearby. We are not a huge institution with hundreds of staff members. It is actually quite modest. We have a few rooms where we keep all our books and materials. The atmosphere is usually pretty calm, especially during the times when there are not many people coming in for inquiries. We spend a lot of time helping visitors understand the forms and the different things they can study. It is a lot of talking and explaining the same things over and over, but that is just part of the job. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow and we have to wait around for pages to load, which can be frustrating, but we manage. We do not have a lot of modern furniture or high-tech gadgets. It is just desks, chairs, and shelves full of papers. We like it being near the masjid because it is easy for people to find us. We do not do any big advertising campaigns or anything like that. Most of the people who come here heard about us from a friend or a neighbor. We just try to be helpful to whoever walks through the door. It is a simple way of running things and it keeps us connected to the local community here in Anantnag. We have been here for a while and plan to stay.
