Our shop is up in Qazigund, located on KP Road in the Tehsil Anantnag area. We are very easy to spot because we are right near the fire station. Being in this part of the country means we have to deal with some pretty tough weather, especially when the snow starts falling. We mostly work on cars and trucks that travel through the mountain passes. It's a rugged life and the vehicles take a real beating from the roads around here. The shop is a simple building where we keep a wood stove going in the winter to keep our hands from freezing while we hold our wrenches. We have a lot of different parts in stock because you never know what’s going to break on those long hauls. Anantnag is a beautiful place, but the work we do is strictly practical. We spend our days under chassis or leaning over engines, trying to get people back on the road as quickly as we can. There isn't much room for fluff in a place like this. We talk about the weather, the road conditions, and how the engines are holding up. People stop by because they need help, and we do what we can with the tools we have. It’s a steady life of hard work and cold mornings, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
