State Board Of Intermediate Education

You can find us upstairs at House Number 1/54 on 1st Road here in the Anantapur district. We’ve been in this building for quite some time now. Dealing with intermediate education means we see a lot of paperwork and even more students and parents coming through the door. It gets very busy around exam time or when results are being announced. The office is usually filled with files, ledgers, and the sound of people asking questions about certificates or marks. We don't have any fancy air conditioning or modern furniture. It’s mostly just wooden desks and ceiling fans that have seen better days. Working for the board is a lot of responsibility because it affects so many young people’s futures. We try to keep things moving along, though the bureaucracy can be slow sometimes. Everyone in the office knows each other well. We share snacks and talk about our families between tasks. Being on 1st Road makes us pretty easy to reach for anyone coming from around the district. Sometimes the stairs are a bit of a climb if you’re carrying a lot of documents, but that’s just how it is. We aren't here to make a profit or sell anything. We just manage the educational standards and exams as best as we can with what we have. It’s a steady kind of work that keeps us all busy during the academic year.
