Our office is located over in Sainagar, specifically on the 5th Cross in Anantapur. If you are from around here, you know the area well. It gets quite hot in this part of Andhra Pradesh, so we spend a lot of time figuring out how to keep the houses cool for the people living in them. We aren't a huge firm with dozens of offices. It’s just us here, looking over site plans and making sure we have enough cement for the next day's pour. Sometimes the supply of bricks is slow, and we have to make some phone calls to get things moving. Most days start early, before the sun gets too high, so the workers can get a good start on the masonry. We deal with all kinds of building projects, mostly residential stuff for families in the city. There is always someone coming in to ask about a renovation or a new boundary wall. We keep our tools and some of the smaller supplies in the back. It’s a busy place with people coming and going. We don’t use any big fancy words to describe what we do. We just build. Sometimes things go exactly as planned, and sometimes we have to adjust because a wall isn't sitting right. We just try to do an honest job every day so the houses stay standing for a long time. It is rewarding to walk down the street and see a roof we finished last year or a gate we put up.
