Our base is at Flat No:-6, B-Type Quarters, right on the JNTU Campus in Anantapur. Ramky Infrastructure Pvt Ltd., Hyderabad, operates out of here to keep an eye on projects near the JNTU College of Engineering. Being on Engineering College Road means we are surrounded by students and academic energy, which is a bit different from our usual site locations. The quarters are simple, just a place for us to stay and work while we manage things in Andhra Pradesh. It’s a practical setup because we’re close to the action. We have a few rooms set up with desks and maps of the local area. It’s not a corporate headquarters by any means. We spend a lot of time talking to local contractors and making sure our supplies arrive on time. The heat in Anantapur can be pretty intense, so we try to get most of our field work done early in the morning. We don’t have a marketing department or anything like that. We just focus on the infrastructure projects we’ve been assigned. Most of us stay here during the week and head back to our families when we get the chance. It’s a lot of long hours and dusty work. We like the fact that we’re right there on the campus. It makes it easier to coordinate with the local authorities and get things moving. It's just how we get things done.
