Dwma-Anantapur

We are based out in Rudrampet, which is a bit away from the main bustle of Anantapur. Our office is at D.No.1-51, and it belongs to P. Narendra Gowd. It’s a simple place, really just a room where we can keep our records and meet when we need to. Working in Andhra Pradesh, you get used to the heat pretty fast. We try to get most of our field work done in the early morning before the sun gets too high and makes everything impossible. Dwma-Anantapur is mostly about managing local tasks and making sure things are moving in the right direction for the community. We don’t have fancy computers or high-end furniture. It’s just wooden tables, a few plastic chairs, and a lot of thick registers. People from the village often stop by to check on things or ask for help with their paperwork. We try to be helpful where we can, even if it’s just explaining a form to someone who hasn't seen it before. The pace of life here is slower than the big cities, and we prefer it that way. You get to know everyone by name, and you hear about their families and their struggles. It makes the work feel more personal. We spend a lot of time walking or riding bikes between different spots in Rudrampet. By the time the day ends, we’re usually pretty tired, but it’s a good kind of tired. We just want to keep things running smoothly for everyone involved.
