You can find us at #2-60 in Ankannapalli. It’s a small place, and most people around here know each other. Venkateswara Handloom Producer Companylimited is basically run by the locals. We aren't tucked away in some industrial park; we are right here in the village. The building we use is quite plain, but it serves its purpose. Inside, there is always something going on. Someone is usually checking the looms or counting the finished pieces. We don't use any fancy management techniques. If something needs doing, we just do it. The floors are concrete and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are more focused on the handloom work than the decor. Sometimes the supply of yarn is late, and we have to adjust our schedule. That’s just life in a small producer company. We have a small office area with an old computer that takes forever to start up. We mostly use it for the basic stuff. Most of our important information is still kept in big physical registers. It feels more reliable that way. During the harvest season, some of our workers have to be in the fields, so we get a bit quiet. But then things pick up again. It’s a natural cycle that we’ve all grown used to over the years. We just keep going, day by day.
