Varun Childrens Hospital is right here in Kamala Nagar. Most people know us because we are so close to the vegetable market. It gets really busy around here in the mornings when everyone is out buying their greens and the noise is just constant. You can hear the vendors calling out while we are inside working with the kids. We’ve been at 14-224 for a good while now. Sometimes the traffic is a real mess because of the market stalls, but it’s home for us. The building isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where we try to help the little ones who aren't feeling well. We see a lot of parents coming in with their babies, looking worried and tired. It’s a lot of long days for the staff. We don’t have a big fancy lobby. Just some chairs and the usual hospital smell that you can't ever quite get rid of. It's funny how you get used to the noise of the market outside. Kamala Nagar is a lively spot, even if it’s a bit too crowded. We’re just tucked in there near the market stalls. People sometimes get lost trying to find the exact door, but once they see the market, they know they are close. It’s just us doing what we do every day.
