About Tadpatri Pipes & Wire Nails – Building & Construction Material in Anantapur
Being out in the Industrial Estate in Tadipatri means we deal with a lot of dust and the constant sound of machinery from the neighboring units. Our unit is number 12, and it is mostly a large warehouse space where we keep the pipes and the wire nails. It is a gritty kind of job, and our clothes are usually stained with oil by the time the sun goes down. We have a small office section partitioned off with some plywood where we keep the records and a very old computer that takes forever to start up. The trucks come in and out all day, kicking up red dirt that settles on everything we own. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading, making sure the bundles of pipes are tied down tight so they don't shift on the bumpy roads around here. There is a small canteen down the road where we get our lunch, usually just some dal and rice that we eat quickly before the next delivery arrives. It is hot work, especially under the tin roof when it is midday, but we have a couple of large industrial fans that help a little bit. We don't talk much while we work because the noise makes it hard to hear, but we all know our roles. It is just a straightforward place where we handle metal and make sure the orders get out to the local builders on time.
