We start our days pretty early here at Sarvakatta Street. There are always boxes of medical supplies stacked up near the front door. Proddatur gets really warm in the afternoons, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done before it gets too hot. It is just a small team of us working here. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to shops or checking through our inventory lists. The shelves are mostly full, but sometimes things get a bit messy when a big shipment comes in. We have a few desks that are covered in paperwork and old pens. It is not a fancy place, just a regular warehouse and office where we get things done. There is a tea stall just down the road where we usually go around four o'clock for a break. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late because of the traffic on the main road, which can be a bit of a headache. We don't have a big sign out front, so most people just know us by the address. We just focus on getting the right boxes to the right people without making too many mistakes. It is a lot of counting and double-checking every single day. We’ve been at this spot for quite a while now and we know the neighborhood well. It is just honest work and we try to keep our heads down.
