Sle Microns

Sle Microns is located out in Tadipatri. It’s a bit of a drive to get here, but it’s where we have our setup. The area is known for its minerals and stones, so it made sense for us to be here. We deal with micronized powders and processing. The facility is mostly a large shed with some heavy machinery inside. It gets quite dusty because of the grinding, so we wear masks most of the shift. There’s a small room off to the side where we keep the books and take our breaks. It’s not a quiet place to work. The machines make a constant humming sound that you eventually stop noticing. We have a small crew of local guys from around Tadipatri who help run the equipment. Most of us have been doing this kind of work for a long time. We don't have a big marketing department or any sales team. Usually, we just sell to the people we’ve known for years in the industry. The yard out front is full of bags waiting to be loaded onto trucks. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside and wait for it to come back. It’s a straightforward business. We don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We just process the material and send it out. The weather gets really hot here in the summer, but we’ve got plenty of shade under the tin roof. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy throughout the year.
