You can find us at Door No 2/5. It is a simple building, nothing too flashy on the outside, but it serves its purpose for the people living nearby. We have been operating out of this space for quite a while now. The entrance is right on the street, and as soon as you step inside, you’re at the main desk. It can get a bit cramped when several people arrive at the same time, especially during the flu season or when there’s something going around the neighborhood. Our staff works long shifts, and you’ll often see them drinking coffee or tea in the small break area behind the counter. We don't have those massive lobbies with fountains or art; we just have rows of plastic chairs and some old health posters on the walls. The lighting is a bit bright, but it helps us see what we’re doing when we’re stitching someone up or checking a fever late at night. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desks, and we have to spend the quiet hours catching up on filing. We know most of the families who live on this block and the next one over. It’s a small operation, really. We just focus on seeing whoever walks through that door and making sure they get what they need. There’s always something to do, whether it’s cleaning the floors or restocking the bandages in the supply closet before the next morning starts.
