Povei Foods & Processing Private Limited is located at Khasra No 1116G. We are right near the Madrasa Nanheda in the Anantpur area of Puhana. It’s a simple setup we have here. We do a lot of food processing. The machines are usually humming all day long. It gets a bit dusty around the site because of the local roads. We’ve been operating from this spot for a few years now. Most of the people working here are from the nearby villages. We don't have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure the work gets done. We process different kinds of grains depending on what's available. Sometimes the equipment breaks down and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing it. That’s just part of the job. We don't have a fancy office. There's a small desk where we keep the books. Most of the time we are out on the floor. The weather in Puhana can be quite harsh. In the summer, it gets incredibly hot inside the shed. We try to get most of the heavy work done in the early morning. It’s a quiet life for the most part.
