Mahadev Jaggery

Our place, Mahadev Jaggery, is over at 1-18-27 on Mailur Road in Vidya Nagar. It’s a decent enough spot, though the road gets quite busy during the school runs in the morning and afternoon. We’ve been operating out of here for a while, mostly just handling the jaggery day in and day out. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. The building is older, with some cracks in the plaster and a roof that needs a bit of work, but it holds everything we need for now. We don't bother with fancy titles or big meetings. Usually, we’re just out back checking on the batches or talking to the guys who bring in the raw materials from the farms. The smell of the sweet stuff is everywhere, which is something you either love or you don't. We’ve got a small crew, mostly locals from Vidya Nagar, and we just get the work done together. There’s no big secret to how we do things. We just follow the same steps we’ve always used and hope the weather stays clear for transport. Sometimes we run late because a machine needs fixing, but we always catch up by the weekend. It’s a simple life on Mailur Road. We open early, we drink our coffee, and we work until the light starts to fade. It’s just a local business trying to do things the right way.
