K S C Milky Mushrooms

Over at 32-24-44, Thallaproddutur, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. We run K S C Milky Mushrooms right off the Dattapuram Rd. It’s a good spot because the road stays busy enough that people see us, but it’s still out in the country where we have space. Growing milky mushrooms is a specific kind of work. They need a lot of care, and we spend a good chunk of our day just checking on them. The shed isn't anything special to look at, just a practical building that keeps the heat in. We’ve been here for a while and most folks around Thallaproddutur know us by now. We don't have a fancy front office or a receptionist. If you come by, you'll probably find us in our work clothes covered in straw or dirt. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so everyone chips in when it’s time to harvest. The Dattapuram Rd can get a bit muddy when it rains, which makes moving the crates a bit of a pain, but we manage. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to grow mushrooms for the people who want them. It’s a lot of manual labor and long hours, but seeing the white mushrooms pop up makes it worth it.
