Iskcon Anantapurs Hare Krishna Natural Products

Our spot is at 2-29 A, right on NH 44 in Somuladoddi. It’s part of the Anantapur Rural area, and we are also linked with the municipal complex near the clock tower and the Iskcon temple area. We deal in natural products because that's what fits with how we live. The shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot into it. You’ll find things that are made simply, without a bunch of chemicals or extra stuff added in. It’s a quiet place for the most part, even with the highway being so close. People come in when they are visiting the temple or just passing through on the way to the city. We spend our mornings getting everything organized on the shelves. It’s not a high-pressure sales environment. We just stand behind the counter and help whoever walks through the door. Sometimes we have tea and talk to the regulars who live in the rural blocks nearby. The clock tower is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. We don't use flashy lights or big advertisements. We just rely on the fact that people know what we have and where we are. It feels good to work with things that come from nature and to stay connected to the local community in Anantapur.
