You can find Dinesh Provisions over at 0/516, Near Archana Theatre on Koneti Kalva Street. Being so close to the theatre means there is always a bit of life around, especially in the evenings when a movie is playing. Proddatur is where we call home and we’ve been at this spot for quite some time. The shop isn't very large, but we manage to fit everything in. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when a big delivery comes in and we have to stack things near the entrance. We spend our days weighing things out and talking to the regulars who stop by. It’s a lot of routine, honestly. We open the shutters early, sweep the front, and get the scales ready. Koneti Kalva Street is a narrow one, so it gets interesting when two vehicles try to pass each other right outside our door. We don't have any fancy mission statements or big goals written on the walls. We just want to get through the day's tasks without any big mistakes. The ledger is usually sitting on the counter, and we try to keep the dust off the jars as much as we can. It’s just a local shop run by local people. We know the smells of the street and the rhythm of the neighborhood. That's enough for us to feel like we are doing something right.
