Dhaatri Granites Export Private Limited is located at 7-473, right at the back side of the Gopala Krishna Talkies. We are in Revenue Ward No. 7. It’s a bit of an tucked-away spot, but most people in town know where the talkies are, so they can find us easily enough. We focus on exporting granite, which is a heavy and dusty business, but our office is where we handle all the management and sales. It’s a practical space. We have samples of stone laying around and a lot of maps and charts on the walls. The area behind the cinema can be a bit quiet during the day, which helps us focus on our work. We started this because there’s a lot of good stone around here and people in other places want it. It's not a glamorous job. We spend a lot of time talking to quarry owners and shipping agents. The team is small and we’ve all been doing this for a while. We don't have a lot of corporate rules. We just show up and do what we need to do. Some days are spent mostly on the phone, others involve checking the quality of the slabs. We don't use any fancy language to describe ourselves. We’re just people who know granite and how to sell it to people outside of our area. It's hard work, but we're used to it.
