Assistant Engineer

This is the office of the Assistant Engineer located in Narasimpalli Village. I'm S. Seshudu, the son of Appaswamy, and we have been based here in the Ananthapur District for quite a while now. Our post office is right here in the village, and the best way to reach us is by coming through Bathalapalli. We use the pin code 515661 for all our mail and documents. Working out of a small village in Andhra Pradesh is much different than being in a big city office with all the bells and whistles. Most of my day is spent dealing with local engineering needs that affect the people living right here in Narasimpalli and the surrounding areas. It is very hands-on work. I might be checking on a small bridge project one day and looking at water pipes or drainage the next. There is no corporate polish to what we do here. It's just about getting the job done so the village can keep running smoothly for everyone. My father has always been a big part of my life here, and people in the village know our family name well. We don't have any mission statements or big goals other than finishing the work on time and making sure it's safe. The environment is dusty and hot for most of the year, but we're used to that. We just focus on the plans and the physical work that needs to happen every day.
