W. I. Heat Treaters Consultants

Our setup at W. I. Heat Treaters Consultants is over at Plot No. 2201/B and 2213 in Phase IV of the GIDC. It’s a pretty large space because heat treating takes up a lot of room with the equipment we use. We’ve been consultants in this field for a long time, helping other businesses get their metal parts just right. It’s technical work, and the shop floor gets quite warm, which is just part of the job. Most of the guys here have grease on their hands by lunch, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We aren't the type of people who sit in fancy offices all day. We’re usually out there looking at the furnaces or talking to clients about their specific needs. Being in Phase IV means we are surrounded by other industrial folks, so there’s always a bit of noise and activity around the plot. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the estate over the years, but our focus on heat treating hasn't changed much. It’s a practical business. We get a lot of repeat work because we’ve been around so long and people trust the experience we’ve gathered. It isn't always easy, and some days the machines give us trouble, but we figure it out. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every week without making a big fuss about it.
